Bluebells, Bretton Hall, May 2021Oil on canvas90cm x 60cm It’s now fifty years since I ceased to be a student here, but I still find inspiration whenever I visit; especially when I walk round the Upper Lake, where the bluebells are paticularly abundant this year.

So providing food, and increasing the number of feeders for the birds is a pleasant diversion.
